Nashville’s We Are Home Programs
provide financing to repair properties in Davidson County damaged from the May 2010 floods and
financial assistance to those residents affected by the flood and interested in purchasing a new home. All
assistance is designed to fill gaps for financing after taking into account
individual assistance provided by FEMA, SBA, insurance, or other resources. We
Are Home is a joint effort of Nashville’s private and public sectors, including
the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, local financial institutions,
nonprofit organizations, the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and
Davidson County.
